Charlott-Maria Schürmann dominates the Prize of KL Invest

The start of this year's Aachen Dressage Youngstars once again belonged to the young horses. Charlott-Maria Schürmann won the national dressage competition at Prix St. Georges level with the Hanoverian stallion Life Time FRH.

For Charlott-Maria Schürmann, it was the perfect dress rehearsal for the final of the “Nürnberger Burgpokal” in just over two weeks' time at the Festhalle in Frankfurt. Highly focused, standing in fine contact and equipped with plenty of dynamism and elasticity, her eight-year-old Hanoverian stallion Life Time FRH completed the required movements of the class with playful ease. “The test in the festively decorated arena here in Aachen was a little taste of Frankfurt for us – and my horse mastered it brilliantly,” said the 33-year-old, praising the performance of her sporting partner, which was rewarded with an impressive 76.098 percent by the international jury.

In second place was the nine-year-old Baccardi offspring Borghese MT, also qualified for Frankfurt, whose strengths were sensitively showcased by his rider Kira Laura Soddemann (74.715 %). Julia de Ridder from the Rhineland was delighted with third place, presenting the youngest horse in the competition, the seven-year-old KWPN gelding Faridero (72.642 %).
